What was the highlight of Sol Katmandu Park & Resort
Good stay
Location is superb, they have lots of activities for kids, our room had an ocean view, they had a great selection for breakfast. Staff were friendly
They often have larger groups checking in, so even if you just want a beach towel you have to wait 15/20min. Signs in rooms advise that if you hang up your towel, you can reuse it. All our towels were changed which I think is not environmentally friendly.

What was the highlight of Sol Katmandu Park & Resort
Good for families
the hotel was nice, it was worth it because the free and unlimited access to the park. We went at the beginning of May so it was not crowded at all. The water park is not too big, I guess in the summer it can get overcrowded. The room was basic, but clean, the breakfast had everything for everybody's taste. All in all, I think it is a good deal for families with kids until 10-12 years old.
The room was rather small for three people.

Good for short stay as a one time experience
Friendly staff, park facilities, relatively clean
Rooms are small, kids club (incl disco)was not great. Noisy from the bars/ clubs nearby. Small swimming pool. Mainly unhealthy food
